Institute for Advanced Study for Early Career Researchers
The Zukunftskolleg is an Institute for Advanced Study (IAS). Following its 5i-strategy it offers non-tenured researchers (postdoctoral researchers, junior professors, research group leaders etc.) independence for their research, interdisciplinary and intergenerational exchange as well as intra-university integration and international contacts.
The Zukunftskolleg offers 2-year Postdoctoral and ZENiT (network) fellowships as well as diverse support measures to perform research without administrative constraints and to have the freedom to engage in meaningful exchange with other up-and-coming colleagues and with distinguished senior researchers. Scholars in the humanities, social and natural sciences from across the world join the Zukunftskolleg to perform cutting-edge research.
The Zukunftskolleg is a keystone in the University of Konstanz's institutional strategy to promote top-level research.
